Willow fence – a recent addition on my plot. Constructed with a thought of keeping children at bay and as a support structure for fleece and letter netting. The construction process was easy and playful. Willow twigs came from the Garden nursery and were waste product of the CPH pruning class. Since they were freshly cut I needed to prevent them form rooting – I striped the bark of each end of each twig. It had some positive sides too – twigs bent easily and rarely snapped. I surrounded my plot with low loops spaced at 50cm and over-crossing at 25cm.
