Heavy machinery on site to shift rocks in to place

After a few weeks of hard work, landscaping the site where we are creating a new display of Scottish native plants, we have got to the exciting point of getting plants in the ground. All of the plants have been collected from the wild in Scotland and propagated on site. Using species lists for each habitat, plants were collected from the SNH Target 8 shade tunnel on the Nursery and laid out on each area ready for planting. Although there are still some blank spaces, there are more seedlings waiting to be pricked out that will bulk up in time to be planted this year.
