20. Rhaphidophora glauca (Wallich) Schott ARACEAE

This is a climbing member of the aroid family. It resembles a smaller form of the familiar Swiss-cheese plant (Monstera deliciosa), a popular house-plant that comes from the New World. It is native to the East Himalaya where it grows up trees and rocks in sub-tropical and mixed broad-leaf forest at altitudes of 1200 to 2150 metres.
