Drifts of daffodils are brightening the Rock Garden just now. They aren’t the UK native species that Wordsworth was referring too, but a diminutive cousin, Narcissus cyclamineus. Over the last few years it has self seeded across many of the beds on the West side of the Rock Garden, creating quite a spectacle.

Over in the Alpine House, Daffodils in the Jonquil group are filling the air with a heady, sweet scent.
