Two of our herbarium specimens from the 19^th Century are in the new exhibition entitled  PLAGUE!  at the National Library of Scotland on George IV Bridge.  They make up part of the Folklore section and represent plants which were tried as herbal cures.  It’s a comprehensive and fascinating exhibition and is on until the end of May.  Well worth a visit.
