Actually it is pretty widespread in southern Thailand with well documennted occurance from Surat Thani province to Satun province. It grows on constantly moist limestone rocks in partial to full shade. It is not that easy to find the right habitat but when you do, you find lots of them. Often hundreds of plants can be found in one place.
