Lothian Buses provide frequent services (Numbers 8, 23 & 27) from two stops on Inverleith Row by the East Gate.

If you would rather walk, Princes Street and Waverley Station are approximately 25 minutes (1 mile, 1.7km) due South. You can either follow the major roads or weave through the streets of the New Town enjoying the Georgian architecture. You won’t get lost if you keep walking up hill once you have crossed the Water of Leith.
