A trial translocation of blaeberry (Vaccinium myrtillus) plants with small cow-wheat (Melampyrum sylvaticum) seeds was carried out at RBGE. The purpose of the trial was to test whether translocation of the hemiparasitic cow-wheat with a host is a viable approach. The alternative of direct sowing of seed will also be trialled.
