Scotland has some of the world’s finest tree collections, their diversity reflecting the role many individual landowners have played over the centuries, collecting and planting trees from across the globe. Now, for the first time, the best of Scotland’s tree collections have been brought together as the National Tree Collections of Scotland (NTCS), established to help celebrate and protect this important part of our cultural heritage.
