In the last couple of days there has been rapid progress on the Botanic Cottage – the stonemasons have moved on site and the historic stones are now being used to reconstruct the building. The outline of the central section of the building is now clearly visible, and it feels particularly nice to see the front door and the space for one of the fireplaces – it has become real. Well done to all of the contractors who have worked over the last couple of months to get to this stage – it is great to see.
