Max joined a community celebration event organised by the Assynt community and planted the very first plant in a wild site on land adjacent to the Little Assynt Tree Nursery. The plant was a wych elm (Ulmus glabra) grown from controlled pollination between survivor trees in the Scottish Borders.

The first plant to be translocated back to a wild site was planted near Little Assynt Tree Nursery as part of a community celebration of elm.
