I’ve just had fun giving a presentation on the how and why of blogging to the Science Research Club.

After a few slides about the benefits of writing a blog post over writing an email or word document I said that we would now write our own post to show how quick it was. Needless to say I ran into trouble because the image that came off the camera (right) wouldn’t rotate the right way up during the presentation. This gave me the opportunity to show how you could go back and fix something later!

I hope that this will lead to more people publishing what they are doing directly to the web through Botanics Stories and it will benefit them and the institution in the long run.
